“Bridging the gap between inequalities”

Each participant in the KWA English contest had to present a project with detailed steps on how to bring this idea from paper to reality. Three judges welcomed the participants at Les Journaux in the 7th district of Marseille on April 23, 2016. The votes are in. Here’s the winning project:

TITLE: GRAFF ’e-T

Objective: To fight against social and educational inequalities; seclusion and racism.

Through graffiti art, Baptiste Leclerc‘s project brings artists together from both underpriviledged and priviledged classes. Their minds, a product of their environment, will work together to create an art exhibition around the main theme of inequalities.

Baptiste Leclerc hopes the outcome of this project, this exhibition, will help people realize that “we can still believe in mankind and its values.” The working and acting together, supported by creative minds, aims at breaking down social seclusion.

“I strongly believe that art allows people to express their innerself so that they can find relief from any bad feeling and instead fill their minds and hearts with joy through imaginative stories.”

Pack your bag Baptiste. You’re going to the States this summer,
